I am a textile artist and have, over a number of years been both intrigued by the flexibility and complexity of fibres.
My skills as a maker and designer have developed during my degree training as well as teaching Art, Design & Technology and this latter role as an educator has informed my own creative understanding.

We have a regular exhibition programme that aims to celebrate the groups' diverse application of the textile media. We have a mentor who engages each member in creative dialogues periodically throughout the year. Our next tutor/mentor is Nigel Cheney. www.nigelcheney.com
I look towards the land and sea for inspiration and natures' flawless artworks.
My artwork explores and exploits materials and I use stitch and dyes to express imagery on silk, paper and embellished felt.
