I have been artistic and creative all my life and enjoy many arty and crafty disciplines, including painting, drawing, sewing, cross stitch.
At a visit to Miniatura at the NEC around 10 years ago, I became entranced and obsessed with the tiny polymer clay foods that were being exhibited there. Since then I have been practising and honing my mini making skills, studying other Miniatures artists' work, in books and by viewing many online videos. I love the tactile nature of polymer clay and the ability that it has, with the right artistic techniques, to mimic natural objects.
Who knew you could make apple pie from polymer clay!
