Jo Cross

I am Jo Cross and I have successfuly been making fused glass jewellery for several years now.  I have also encorporated Sterling Silver or Precious Metal Clay (PMC) into some of my jewellery pieces.  I love the fact that you can cut several different pieces of glass, layer them up & fuse them together, not knowing what the results will be until you open the kiln door.  Some types of glass can change colour as a chemical process during fusing which is always exciting.

I sell my jewellery mainly through Vitreus Art Studio & Workshop at Bell Plantation in Towcester.  In past years I have exhibited and demonstrated my work at Vitreus Art during the South Northants Art Trail.  This year I will be demonstrating wire wrapping techniques during NOS at Vitreus Art, and also offering taster sessions.  The demonstrations are the basis of my workshops that I teach at the studio.  For more details, please visit www.VitreusArt.co.uk for workshop details and  booking forms.
