I have lived in the UK for about thirty years. My native home is Jamaica so I couldn’t help but develop the passion for colours. I remember the first time I actually thought about drawing anything. It was seeing one of my younger sisters drawing something and I thought I could do that.
I didn't really do anything with it until a few years later living in the UK. I took some classes in art at the local collage and then some private classes doing still life art. It was a shock to me at first but then I came to regard it as mere objects.
I continued some aspects of abstract art in college but didn't take it too seriously. Looking back at some of my work, I decided to give it another go. As of now, I am surprising myself because it is spontaneously flowing thought the brush stroke, colours and movement.
