Get diving in to the back of your wardrobe - or rummage through the rails at the charity shop and bring new life into an old plain garment. We are going to up- cycle with Indian Block Printing techniques to breathe new life into old clothing.
You will get the best results with cotton or linen - but feel free to try out other fabrics too - I know T-shirts also work well. We will be using textile paints which are heat fixed and washable to 40 deg C
We have a huge selection of hand carved Indian printing blocks including florals, animals and abstracts and several alphabets if you wish to personalise your garment.
You will have two hours, access to a huge variety of blocks and paints - just bring your self and a garment or two to print up and bring back to the front of your wardrobe. As the fabric paints don't wash out you may wish to bring an apron to cover up.
Tea and cake included as well as full instruction and plenty of inspiration from Hannah.
