Coral Bowl

I visited the Zoology Museum at Cambridge University and sketched objects that were appealing due to their patterns and shapes. As I thought about these drawings, I had the idea of creating a relief design into the surface of the clay for glaze to be applied. The making of the relief, into the dried clay, takes a very long time and there have been some lost pots!
