Rogue Waves - Abstract Screenprints

Abstract one-off screenprints created by channeling accident, looseness and imperfection.

Working with silkscreens containing three variations of wave pattern, in my process nothing - composition, colours, movement - is pre-planned. Spontaneous movements of the squeegee across the screen are made in a haze of experimentation and happenstance; channeling accident, looseness and imperfection over design, making decisions on the fly in response to what’s happening on the paper as each new layer of colour is printed.

The results are unique, one-off prints.
