Like most crafts people I work with an assortment of materials which include Kiln formed glass, lamp working, ceramics, polymer clay, painting and pastels but to name a few. I make jewellery out of some of these resources which are more unusual and interesting than precious. I have been making for over 35 years; and have a BA (Hons) Degree from De Montfort University in 3D Design; I also attended a Professional Development Course at The International Glass Centre, Brierley Hill in 2006/7 which enhanced my skills in a variety of glass methodology. These days I make more for fun, sales are a bonus, I do not exhibit as often but still want people to see my work and wear it if they wish! I may be persuaded to demonstrate glass bead making on the open days if anyone is interested. Also any of the other methods of work that I use: including polymer clay which can be an interesting hobby for someone with very little space. It can be basic or very intricate; it depends on how far you wish to take it! You may get to see my own private pieces that I do not show or exhibit as they are not for sale.
